The Rwenzori Mountain National Park (RMNP) is one of the lesser funded parks a in Uganda. P4P, working for WWF and in collaboration with UWA and the RMNP staff, developed a fundraising strategy to ensure overall conservation of the unique RMNP ecosystems. P4P also held a capacity building workshop for park managers.
P4P, engaged by the GIZ, conducted a workshop train CSOs part of BioNet on funding opportunities for conservation, particularly using marketing for conservation of protected areas. This is part of a project to build the capacity of civil society to address conservation issues.
